After a year and more of roleplaying in Battery City and the Zones, it’s been harder and harder to find someone who still likes to play in this fabulous universe. The simple purpose of this list is to collect links (only with the owners’ permission, of course) and to help everyone find new or more RP partners/groups, who are still active and open for some roleplay.
You want to be added to/deleted from this list? Change any information? Know other RPers who’d be interested in this, or do you know good sites to play on? Any questions or ideas? Threatening letters? Contact thezonecave either via fanmail or ask (You can do this anonymously. I’ll answer privately.)
There are brilliant Dangerverse ask-tumblrs out there, but this will be a list of RP accounts. Therefore: no ask-tumblrs, unless you use it for text-based RP as well.
Be sure to check this post every once in a while as it’ll be updated regularly with every new RP link.
If you feel like you’re stuck with your play or character, take the time to read the following excellent RP guide: “How to join a RP group”, or find others on the internet - they can only help you improve your roleplay. If you know other well-written ones, please share them!
So-so-so, friends and neighbors! I was recently contacted by The Zone Cave who gave me the wonderful tip-off that people are still enjoying the Dangerverse like kids at a playground!
(Ahem. Don’t mind me. I’m only halfway through my first cup of coffee.)
If you’re the type to RP, hit them up for some added four-double-one. On that note, I’ve been thinking off and on about starting my own game taking place in our favorite desert wasteland. Would anybody be interested?
runwithmeginger asked: I've been thinking, and what if the person "Party Poison" is more of a symbol than an individual? As in, Party Poison is a villigant-type figure that a rebel takes up, so when one Party dies, another one takes his place (and by extension, this would also apply to Fun Ghoul, Jet Star, and Kobra Kid). This would explain how the Killjoys seem to die twice. I don't know if the mask that Party wears hints at this, or if there's any other evidence or it, but it's just a thought.
Kind of makes me think of V for Vendetta a bit, sort of like how Evey stepped up and became the next one after the original died. Also makes me think a bit of superheroes, the way the mantle can be given to others depending on the era and such?
It certainly makes one ponder-ponder about why the characters in “SING” have injuries and scars that they don’t have in “Na Na Na.” Though there’s a small hitch in terms of continuity, what with the girl being kidnapped and Party Poison opening his eyes at the end of “Na Na Na” and such… -GA
desertflare asked: Hi, me again. XD I had a theory regarding "Battery Powered Exploding Sheep" that I wanted to run past you quickly. Since 'sheep' is a term often used for those showing mindless following behavior, I came to a theory that "Battery Powered Exploding Sheep" was another way to say "ghosted Drac" or some form of it, because the Killjoys would probably see them as sheep, and "Battery Powered Exploding" would probably have to do with a bomb or grenade, probably powered by batteries. Yes, no?
Hmm… Since I’m in the midst of reading the Battle Royale manga, I’m now imagining all of the Dracs wearing collars that their higher-ups can make explode—or perhaps something less violent—for insubordination.
Still! Your theory is an intriguing one regarding the dispatch of Dracs in the field. What do the rest of you think? -GA
desertflare = Hmm. We can hope, chickadee! I’m still trying to figure out what ACC’s recent tweets might have to do with anything…if they have to do with anything…
skittles-shock = I doubt it? Unless maybe they’re trying to make people think of the resurrection motif. *shrug* That’s reaching really, really far, though.
Yes, while Frank’s tweets seem to be counting down towards Gerard’s birthday, that still leaves the nature of Agent Cherri Cola’s recent activity… I’m about to do a post on that now, since I’ve been out and about, but so far I’m a tad short on theories as to what they could mean or to what they might refer.
morisenshisun asked: What's your take on Korse's origins? He's perfectly functional in Na Na, but when Sing comes around, he's just standing in a chamber until a switch is flipped. Something's not right with that.
I have a considerable amount of feelings about Korse. For a while, I thought he was a robot. Then there was a lot of speculation that perhaps the pod was a sleeping chamber. And someone came up with this theory that maybe it’s helping to prolong his life?
To be quite honest, I have to go through and properly tag everything for easier searching, even though the theorizing aspect of the era seems to have…well…died. Which is kind of sad; I miss all the debating and theorizing that went on…
California is a place of earthquakes, no? Wouldn’t that still be a problem in the Dangerverse? Especially since things are taking place in the Los Angeles area, which experiences earthquakes and landslides (unless I’m mistaken).
Bit of a half-baked idea that I’ll come back to when I’m not marathon-listing items on eBay or laughing myself silly to Robin Williams’s stand-up, but maybe it’s something to think about/discuss.
The main purpose of this guide is explaining how one can get to the front at a rock concert and survive there with maximum comfort and minimum painful consequences – therefore, it focuses on queuing. However, the advice in it can be useful for show-going in general, as well as for queuing for tickets and whatever other situations involving prolonged outside queuing followed by a crowded event. All of recommendations in this guide are based on real live experiences of a by-now-somewhat-experienced queuer, and therefore, tested personally. That is not to say that I am inviting you to sue me if some or other piece of advice does not work for you. I AM , however, inviting you to contribute your own bit by pressing the ‘comment’ button down below.
Just because the boys aren’t necessarily touring doesn’t mean this can’t be useful, right? A good Killjoy knows proper concert etiquette regardless of who’s playing.
So I know we’ve discussed that the yellow bandanna Party Poison wears on his leg means that he’s a dom that’s into watersports, and honestly, that makes me giggle. But have we considered that it could be a sign as to what Zone he comes from? Just curious if this is a dialogue that’s been had…
Putting this here because even though there hasn’t been much in the way of new content, this is still totally a blog for discussing headcanon and such.
Also, because the sexual theory of the bandanna never fails to make me giggle inappropriately.
Also, because Tenny is really kind of brilliant. But if you follow the Ask Poison blog or even her own blog, you probably already know that.
But. Er. YES! This is fascinating. Discuss-discuss-discuss! And, ah, to everyone who has followed since I last popped in:
Share with me your headcanons! I will, at some point, get around to putting this place into proper searching order.

If you’re into RPs and you’re looking for a Dangerverse-themed one to play in, this might actually be relevant to your interests. It appears to be well-thought out, detailed, and they get bonus points for fitting in Zydrate. XD
